He knew that his mother would not let him buy both of these things, and that she would probably tell him that he has to choose one. He said to her, "I want both

Max looked at his toys all over the floor, but he didn't want any more coins or money. He didn't know what to choose between buying toys or candy.
Max thought for a moment and then he got an idea. He took all of his coins out of his piggy bank money to buy his own cars and trucks for the event. He thought about buying some cheap toys for freeing him, but he still felt lonely without them.
