Once upon a time, there was a delicate egg. The egg was very small and sat in a nest all alone. All the other eggs had already hatched, and he wondered why he hadn't. He felt sad that he was all by himself.
One day, something very exciting happened. The egg heard a soft crack and felt something move inside of him. He saw a tiny crack appear in his shell. His heart skipped a beat with excitement!
The egg worked hard to improve the crack. Little by little,

the egg began to crack open and eventually revealed a baby bird inside! The baby bird had been perched on top of the egg. He was so happy to have discovered such an impressive egg! He knew he'd been able to hatch into an egg soon enough, but he would be able to fly away with his babies.
Every day he would come back and explore his nest in the eggry nights. He kept growinglaces tighten through the night though he'd be sent off.
