"I want to see what's at the top of the tree," Spike replied. The bird thought for a moment and said, "I can help you!" The bird flew up and brought back a long stick. Spike used the stick to reach the shiny thing. It was a beautiful, shiny stone. Spike was so happy that he had made a new friend and found the shiny thing. From that day on, Spike and the bird went on many more adventures together.
