After a while, Sally came out of her house and saw Joe waiting outside. She was happy to see him and invited him inside. They played together and had a lot of fun.
But then, something unexpected happened. Sally's cat, Mittens, came running into the room and knocked over a vase. Joe got angry and said, "Bad cat! You broke my vase!" Sally was sad and didn't know what to do.
But then, Sally had an idea. She said, "Let's go to the store and buy a new vase for Joe. And let's invite Mittens to come with us!" Joe thought it was a great idea and they all went to the store together. They found a new vase and invited Mittens to come along. They all had a great time and became even better friends.
