Tommy was grumpy. He did not want to go to bed. He wanted to play with his cars and trucks. But Mommy said it was time to sleep. She gave him a hug and a kiss and tucked him in with his pillow.

"Mommy, can I mail a letter to my friend?" Tommy asked.
"Sure, Tommy. That's a great idea," Mommy said.
Tommy smiled and got out of bed. He wrote a letter to his friend and put it in an envelope. He put a stamp on it and put it in the mailbox. He felt happy. He was not grumpy anymore.
