One day, Julia's mama had to go to work. She told Julia to be careful and not to touch the laundry. "It's very important," she said. "Please don't let it get dirty."
But Julia didn't listen. She wanted to play with the laundry. She took out all the clothes and put them on the floor. She laughed and giggled as she played.
When her mama came home, she saw the mess. She was very sad. "I told you not to touch the laundry," she said. "Now it's ruined."
Julia felt bad. She didn't mean to make her mama sad. She promised to be more careful next time. But it was too late. The laundry was ruined and her mama was very upset. From that day on, Julia learned to listen to her mama and never played with the laundry again.
