Tommy was grumpy. He did not want to go to bed. He wanted to play with his cars and trucks. But Mommy said it was time to sleep. She gave him a hug and a kiss and tucked him in with his pillow.

Mommy smiled and said, "Yes, Tommy. You can mail a letter to your friend."
Tommy was happy. He wrote a letter to his friend and put it in an envelope. He put a stamp on it and put it in the mailbox. He was not grumpy anymore. He went to bed with a smile on his face.
