Jimmy picked one of the fruits and took a bite. It was sour! He made a funny face and said, "It's so sour!" His father laughed and said, "That's because it's a lemon. It's supposed to be sour."
Jimmy was curious and asked, "What does sour mean?" His father explained, "It means it makes your mouth feel funny when you eat it." Jimmy thought about it for a moment and then said, "I don't like sour things." His father smiled and said, "That's okay. You don't have to eat it if you don't like it."
Jimmy was happy that he didn't have to eat the sour lemon. He thanked his father and continued on his way to school.
