Jack and Sally were running through the woods together when they stopped suddenly. They heard a strange sound coming from around the corner.
“What's that?” asked Jack.
Sally put her finger to her lips and said, “Shhhh. Let's go find out.”

sound until they came to a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a big tree with a hole in it.
“What's in there?” asked Sally.
“I don't know,” said Jack. “Let's take a look.”
When they looked inside the hole, they saw a little bird with a broken wing.
“Oh no!” said Sally. “We need to help the bird.”
Jack and Sally carefully picked up the bird and took it back to their house. They took care of the bird until its wing was all better.
The bird thanked Jack and Sally for their help and flew away.
Jack and Sally were so happy that they had been able to help the little bird.
