The next day, Joe went to Sally's house again. He knocked on the door this time, but there was still no answer. Joe was very sad and thought Sally did not want to play with him. He sat down and started to cry.
Just then, Sally came out of her house. She saw Joe crying and asked him what was wrong. Joe told her that Sally did not want to play with him. Sally smiled and said, "I have a surprise for you!" She went inside her house and came back with a big box. Inside the box was a new toy for both of them to play with. Joe was so happy, and they played together all day. From that day on, they knew they would always be available to play together.
